Powerhouse Skillet Brownie

Enjoy this Collagen Powerhouse Skillet Brownie as a high-protein dessert that satisfies your sweet tooth while nourishing your body!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Advanced Multi Collagen Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup almond flour (or whole wheat flour)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (optional for an extra protein kick)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 large egg (or flax egg for a vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, collagen powder, protein powder (if using), baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the coconut oil, honey, almond butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch cast-iron skillet or oven-safe pan.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Be careful not to overbake, as the brownie should remain fudgy!
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Top with a scoop of Greek yogurt or your favorite ice cream for an extra treat!
