Ingredients:
- 1 scoop Advanced Multi Collagen Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup almond flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (optional for an extra protein kick)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1 large egg (or flax egg for a vegan option)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, cocoa powder, collagen powder, protein powder (if using), baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the coconut oil, honey, almond butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased 8-inch cast-iron skillet or oven-safe pan.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Be careful not to overbake, as the brownie should remain fudgy!
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Top with a scoop of Greek yogurt or your favorite ice cream for an extra treat!
