Golden Collagen Cinnamon Horchata

This “Collagen-Infused Cinnamon Horchata Bliss” is a refreshing twist on the classic horchata, adding the benefits of collagen to your favorite sweet and creamy beverage!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop Advanced Multi Collagen Protein Powder
  • 1 cup white rice (rinsed)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the rice, cinnamon stick, and water. Blend until the rice and cinnamon are finely ground.
  2. Let the mixture sit for at least 3 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to infuse.
  3. Strain the rice mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher, discarding the solids.
  4. Stir in the collagen powder, almond milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Serve over ice, and sprinkle with a pinch of ground cinnamon for garnish.
